Mimi Wong, Advanced Writing Editor & Mentor
After growing up in California’s Silicon Valley, Mimi arrived in the city to attend New York University and never left. AT NYU, she received my B.A. in English & American Literature, with double minors in Creative Writing and Chinese. For the past decade, she’s built a diverse creative career, working as a video producer and editor in film, television, and web for outlets including VICE, ABC, and PBS.
Currently, she serves as the Editor in Chief of The Offing, as well as a New York desk editor of ArtAsiaPacific. Mimi’s writing on art, culture, and literature can be found at Electric Literature, Literary Hub, Hyperallergic, Refinery29, and Mediaversity, and her fiction has appeared in Crab Orchard Review, Day One, and Wildness.
In 2017, Mimi was selected as an AICA Art Writing Workshop mentorship recipient by The Creative Capital | Andy Warhol Foundation.
She currently lives in Brooklyn, NY and privately tutors clients with extraordinary literary promise.
